Question by tentativechaos: What is the best free web hosting website?
I already own a domain name, and I am looking for a good place to host the actual website without paying anything for it.
Also I’m looking for people to recommend websites based on personal experience, not just googleing “free web hosting”
Thanks.

From the services I’ve been with in my free-hosting days, the best that I could have thought of were ulmb.com and tyreus.com. Neither of these hosts advertises extensively but both are extremely professional with minimum-none downtimes.
But once you outgrow a free-hosting account, it might be a good idea to start looking for shared hosts.
Free web hosting stands for a webhosting service offered for free, so that one do not have to pay any money for the free web host service provided… Free hosting providers offer some free webspace to store website’s files on their servers as well as the other usual web hosting free features required to publish a free web site on the web… Actually, the presence or absence of so called forced advertisments, the adverts that some free hosts implement into websites they host for free…
for free web hosting , go to and choose the chocolate plan which is completely free.
features under this plan……
Disk Space 250 MB
POP3/IMAP E-mail accounts Available
Top/Bottom banner ads Banner less
Full DNS Management
and many more..
and these facilities are at free of cost……

I would really recommend
1500 MB disk space
100 GB data transfer
PHP and MySQL
Website Builder
no advertising
Never had any problems at all, they will help you with servers etc. control panel is easy to use.
I pay £10 a year for the domain name, so that is the yearly cost of my site. Free hosting rocks
Hope that helps
Domain registration is cheap and it also gives you free web space and all. And overall, this is less than $ 20 a year alone! If you need more space, they can give it at lower rates, beating every other host out there.
If your current internet provider is Earthlink, AOL, SBC Global and others which provide a homepage; you can easily FTP your own webpage designs as a new homepage. And using a redirection service such as mydomain.com or the forwarding of a parked domain name at godaddy.com, you can easily “mask” the homepage URL with a proper domain name. So in a sense, you have a working ecommerce website disguised as a homepage while still paying your normal monthly Internet provider’s access and hosting fee of the homepage.
Good luck!
You should definitely try 000webhost. I’ve been with them for about 6 months and still no downtimes. Not the ones I know about anyways
So here are the details:
-No forced ads
-1500 MB space
-100GB Monthly Bandwidth
-Free website builder
-Free Domain
-Multiple website scripts ready to be installed
-Multiple FTP accounts for more than one website
And, it’s free.
